The award-winning Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and its associated Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital have been att the forefront in implementing new innovations in patient care. The institution was among the very first in the United States to introduce Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist, or NAVA, to the Medical ICU, Surgical ICU Cardiac ICU as well as the Pediatric ICU and Neonatal ICU.
